Sundays at UUCB

Each Sunday we gather in person for services at 9:00am & 11:00am and more folks join us online for the livestream of the later service. Our congregation is made up of every type of person, from newborns to folks in their 90s – married, single, divorced, widowed, students, workers and retirees, lifelong Coloradans and folks brand new to the area.

What does a Sunday service look like?

We receive a message from our minister and members of the congregation. We take time to reflect and meditate together. We greet each other so everyone feels welcomed. We share announcements and church news. We sing and listen to beautiful music. We share the congregation’s joys and concerns. Services are followed by social hour to connect with others over coffee and snacks.

Children and Youth

Nursery care is provided for infants and toddlers to age 3, though infants and toddlers are always welcome to stay with their parents during the service. Trained and background-checked caregivers staff our nursery. At the 9:00am service, we offer religious education classes for preK-5th graders. Our middle school youth group meets Sunday evenings twice a month. Our 11:00am service doesn’t have religious education classes, but we’re always glad to have folks of all ages joining in.

Most folks attend services in casual clothes, including t-shirts and jeans. We believe the most important part about Sunday morning is showing up. We currently have about 250 members, and more than 100 folks typically gather in person each Sunday with additional folks joining online.
