Sponsored by the Inquiring Minds reading group, Climate Action Ministry, and Racial Justice Ministry. Facilitated by Steve Todd

  • How do justice issues around race and class intersect with environmental issues?
  • What are the ways that white supremacy, patriarchy, and even capitalism contribute to oppression and ecological devastation?
  • How might spiritual practices and liberal theology shape a more holistic, faith-based way to work for justice?

With insights from the new book of the same name (which offers a diversity of perspectives from UU thinkers and activists) as well as other sources, we will explore these sometimes hidden connections and find inspiration and ideas for enacting justice in our own lives and making a better world for those who come after. Justice on Earth is the 2018-19 UUA Common Read book selection.
