Weekly on Wednesdays in the Sky Room, starting November 14, 2018, through April 17, 2019 (holidays will typically be skipped).
Time: Wednesday, 12 noon to 1 pm (Bud will typically be there 15 minutes early, and stay 15 minutes later).
Skill level: Beginners through experts – led by: Bud Spear
Tai Chi can be thought of as “moving meditation.” It is wonderful for relaxation, balance, enhancing your focus, and toning your muscles. Whatever your level of expertise, you can readily practice movements at home. The practice will make you have better posture, and feel more balanced and graceful in every part of your life.
As with last year, we will focus on the 1st set of the Yang Style of Tai Chi, with variations on this set. More Tai Chi and Qi Gong movements will added this year, and we will emphasize slowing the movements so that we develop a better awareness of our Chi.
*A person can start these classes any time during the year. If you miss classes, you will not fall hopelessly behind.
*Each class begins with warmup Qi Gong and Tai Chi moves, and then continues into the set of Tai Chi movements. Each class always repeats what was learned previously, and then adds a few new movements.
*Newcomers during the year will “struggle” to keep up, but everyone that has learned Tai Chi has been through this struggle of learning the movements!
If you would like preliminary information about Tai Chi and Qi Gong emailed to you before the first class on November 14th, you may send me your name, email address, and telephone number (email@example.com).
