For more than 30 years UUCB and the Boulder Valley UU Fellowship have had a pot luck Thanksgiving dinner together. We take turns hosting. Since the Fellowship is renovating and expanding their building this year, we will host the dinner again. We need a small group of UUCBers to help with the dinner. Usually we ask everyone who is coming to either help with set up or clean up, if they are able. This makes the tasks pretty easy. But we do need a handful of us who know the plan and where things are to make the dinner a success. We also need two people to roast a large turkey each in their own oven or one can be roasted at UUCB. If you’d like to roast a turkey, or If you would like to help with the the dinner plans, please contact Dianne Ewing, 303-776-0227, or email@example.com.
Bring your family and friends and out-of-town guests! All ages are welcome. It’s lots of fun to have dinner with a large group of UUs and friends. Everyone brings a dish to share, traditional or nontraditional! And it is so much easier to just make one or two dishes instead of the entire meal! We will have a sign-up sheet out on Sundays during late October and November, and we we will also use Sign-Up Genius, so you can sign up on line. We start setting up at 12:30 and dinner starts at 2 p.m. (Record the football games!) Put this event on your calendar now!
