At both services on Sunday mornings, children and youth (preschool – 5th grade) attend the opening of the worship service with their families. At the 9:15 service, a full Religious Education program is offered, led by volunteer teachers using professionally created curricula. At the 11 am service, infant care is provided but children stay in the service

This year (2017-2018) in Religious Education we will focus on the Web of Life with lessons drawn from UUA’s Tapestry of Faith.  Our classes will explore how we are all connected and how our behaviors affect one another and the world.  From stewardship for the earth to the importance of gaining social justice tools that counteract the marginalization of others we will strive to better understand our interdependence as we have fun learning and growing together.

Curriculum Overview:

Preschool/ Kindergarten- World of Wonder/ Celebrating Me and My World
Grades 1st and 2nd- Free to Believe
Grades 3rd-5th- Love Connects Us/ Keepers of the Earth
We did not weave the web of life;
We are merely a strand in it.
Whatever we do to the web
We do to ourselves.
