At both services on Sunday mornings, children and youth (preschool – 5th grade) attend the opening of the worship service with their families. At the 9:15 service, a full Religious Education program is offered, led by volunteer teachers using professionally created curricula. At the 11 am service, all children are together for story and activity.
This year (2017-2018) in Religious Education we will focus on the Web of Life with lessons drawn from UUA’s Tapestry of Faith. Our classes will explore how we are all connected and how our behaviors affect one another and the world. From stewardship for the earth to the importance of gaining social justice tools that counteract the marginalization of others we will strive to better understand our interdependence as we have fun learning and growing together.
