Just a month ago, Longmont UU Presence launched a crowdfunding campaign on FAITHIFY. We set the goal of raising $4,000 in 60 days. All or nothing.
We reached our goal! People near and far rose to the occasion and generously supported our vision with their contributions. We are deeply grateful and excited for our future. It’s not too late for you to contribute too!
Our goal is an innovative, multicultural, and multigenerational spiritual community for families. We have been growing our roots and nurturing beloved community as UUs in Longmont, and now it’s time to reach out in love and involve families beyond our UU circles who are searching for a deep and spiritually grounded community. We are ready to partner with other community groups and serve.
FAITHIFY is a crowdfunding site where passionate people INSPIRE, UNITE, and FUND Unitarian Universalist ministries. The success of LUUP’s campaign, Families and Faith: Next Steps for LUUP, will double our budget for the next fiscal year and fund outreach, planning, location rentals, and curriculum for new programming.
Our campaign isn’t over! Help us continue this momentum through August 19. We have also set a participation goal of 150 donors. Donations of all amounts matter. Share this link with your networks; our success will be directly related to how widely our campaign reaches.
So many people appreciate the sense of warm community they experience at the various LUUP events, whether at the community gatherings, spiritual practice groups, or social times. Help us extend that sense of spiritual rootedness and welcoming community to families in Longmont!
“The heart of Unitarian Universalism lies in covenant. The promises we make to one another are powerful, especially when we live it out in partnership with one another. The Longmont Unitarian Universalist Presence provides an opportunity to serve a community that has a sizable Latinx population and is already an innovative way of building Beloved Community centered on mission. Join our three Boulder County congregations in growing our faith to new levels by amplifying our UU presence in Longmont.”
