Our thoughts and good wishes continue to be with: All those people from Central America, as they have walked for weeks and risked their lives in search of a better life. The family, and friends of Trish Judd who died on October 20th. A Celebration of her Life was held at Frasier Meadows on November 17th, with Rev. Dignan and Frasier Meadows, Chaplain Bob Ritzen officiating. With Ellen Cotts and her family on the death of Ron Cotts on Sunday morning, November 4th. A Celebration of his Life was also held at Frasier Meadows on November 15th; which again included Rev. Dignan, Chaplin, Bob Ritzen, plus Rev. Stephen Pappas, Emeritus, First Universalist Church of Denver. Herm Sievering who is recovering from bypass heart surgery. After being in rehab, he was able to be home for Thanksgiving. Vince Orlando who is recovering from knee surgery last month. Amy Phillips’ mother-in law after kidney surgery last month.
Congratulations, Good Luck, Blessings, and Thanks to: Nell Galloway who celebrated her 4th birthday on October 27th. Whitney Wheeless celebrated her 50th birthday last month. Babs & Gary Herrli as Babs’ mother turned 97 years old. She was a Navy Wave, so we honored her on Veteran’s Day. After an incredible Music Sunday gift to all of us, we were able to meet Debra Hammond’s Father, Ray Cooper who was visiting from New Jersey. He and her uncle were joining she and Roger for Thanksgiving. It is always a pleasure to welcome troubadour Jim Scott, whenever he visits UUCB. Many of us celebrated Anibal’s THIRD birthday on November 24th.
