News: Hack Alert

If you are using a rechargeable Safeway grocery card that was purchased prior to February 1, 2018 please be aware that older Safeway cards have the capacity to be hacked.

Your Safeway card should have a picture of tomatoes on the front.

If  not, to protect your grocery money please follow these steps:

1) Use the card until the balance is $0.00

2) Purchase a new rechargeable card ($25.00 by check or cash) from the UUCB grocery card sales table in the sky room after Sunday services on the second or fourth Sunday of the month..

3) Cut up the old card and throw it away.

Safeway will no longer recharge older Safeway cards.

If you have any questions, or believe that your older card has been hacked, contact Eileen Sammells at 303-440-8444 or
