Many of you have stated an interest in donating items for our guest room. If you have items you would like to donate, please do NOT drop them off at UUCB. First, contact Mary: firstname.lastname@example.org. She will need a complete description of item with photo. We are only planning to furnish the room with the basics until we have a guest and the guest can then request additional items.
The Security updates to our building are in progress and the basic shower has been installed. We will keep our commitment to our congregation, we will have all the security updates completed before a guest arrives.
Rev Kelly is starting Sanctuary Reflection Circles in December. This is an opportunity to share your deepest feeling about UUCB hosting an immigrant. Perhaps you are excited, or scared and concerned or just not sure how all this will affect our church. Attend a theological reflection circles where our deepest feelings will be shared in a “safe place”. The dates: Tues, December 5, 7:00pm – 8:30pm and Tues, December 19, 1:30pm – 2:30pm.
