For the month of April UUCB will be Sharing Our Plate with Teen Clinic,
(Boulder Valley Women’s Health)!
In April, UUCB splits our offering plate with the Teen Clinic and Youth Services Program of Boulder Valley Women’s Health Center. The program offers innovative educational and clinical services, aimed to reduce rates of unintended pregnancy and sexually transmitted infections (STIs) in local youth. The Youth Services Program takes a multi-faceted approach to achieve success; including educational programs, targeted outreach, and clinical services. We provide science-based, age-appropriate, medically accurate, and culturally competent education to teens in schools and community settings, as well as to parents of local youth. Reducing unwanted pregnancies and STIs among young people empowers them to envision a successful future and allows them to pursue their goals.
Start thinking about what Boulder County non-profit you might want to nominate for the coming year. Nomination forms for 2019-2020 Share Our Plate are available in front of the church office. You may vote for more than one. Forms are due on Sunday May 5.
