SUMMARY:Senior Salon
DESCRIPTION:Senior Salon is an open discussion group for seniors. We meet “in-person” in the Sunshine Canyon Room\, at Fraiser Meadows Retirement Center (350 Ponca Place\, Boulder) on the second Wednesday of each month; from 10:00 – 12:00 am.\n\n\n\n\n\nThere is no lower-age attendance criteria; members simply self-select. Existing members declare that “The purpose and mission of the UUCB Senior Salon is to openly\, respectfully and lovingly share among ourselves\, relevant stories\, and information about facing and thriving in the later stages of life.” \nSenior Salon also meets (via Zoom) on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of the month. from 10:00 – 11:00 am. DESCRIPTION:In order to offer our members and friends an opportunity to learn more about Unitarian Universalism\, the Adult Religious Exploration Team is offering an opportunity for the congregation to join an online class on UU Theology. \nThis class will meet for 6 Wednesdays on Zoom from 6-7:15pm. There are Online resources through a website called Teachable. Because UUCB has purchased access to this course it’s free for you to take! \nUse this  link to register. When you register choose “Congregation Group” so it will be free. \n  \n\n\n\n\nSchedule\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nApril 8 – What Is Theology? \nApril 15 – What Are God and Spirit? \nApril 22 – What Is Our Purpose? \nApril 29 – Who Are We? \nMay 6 – What Are Our Sources? \nMay 13 – What Saves Us? \nThe zoom link for these sessions can be found on the homepage after you register.  You’ll attend these sessions via zoom in your own home. It’s okay if you miss a couple of sessions. \nIn addition\, UUCB will be hosting 3 discussion session on Sundays so you can discuss what you’re learning with others at UUCB.
