DESCRIPTION:The first Friday of every month\, we host an all-ages potluck community night from 6:00-8:00. For the first hour\, we eat and socialize\, and in the second hour there’s a variety of different activities like tie-dye and sparklers; a campfire singalong and s’mores; or Christmas caroling in December. No signup needed\, just bring some food to share and come on by! If you’d like to attend but don’t have time to cook\, we’ve always got extra food and would love your presence. \nFor October’s Community Night\, get ready for Halloween and B.Y.O.P (bring your own pumpkin!). We will have mini pumpkins and craft supplies on hand for decorating. Show off your creations in a pumpkin pageant.

DESCRIPTION:The upcoming Jewish High Holy Days begin the Jewish year 5785. Rev. Ruth Rinehart will reflect on her own Jewish heritage\, and invites us all to reflect on their yearly spiritual practice of right relationship. \n \nRev. Ruth Rinehart is a community minister\, affiliated with Jefferson Unitarian Church in Golden\, where she lives in her suburban permaculture homestead with her partner\, David Hurlbut\, their daughter and son-in-law and four cats. She founded the first-in-the-country queer recovery residence that welcomes all genders\, Just Living Recovery\, in Lakewood. Currently\, she is recovery coach for Whitian House\, outpatient treatment center in Lakewood\, serving incarcerated folx living in community corrections.
