DESCRIPTION:The first Friday of every month\, we host an all-ages potluck community night from 6:00-8:00. For the first hour\, we eat and socialize\, and in the second hour there’s a variety of different activities like tie-dye and sparklers; a campfire singalong and s’mores; or Christmas caroling in December. No signup needed\, just bring some food to share and come on by! If you’d like to attend but don’t have time to cook\, we’ve always got extra food and would love your presence. \nFor October’s Community Night\, get ready for Halloween and B.Y.O.P (bring your own pumpkin!). We will have mini pumpkins and craft supplies on hand for decorating. Show off your creations in a pumpkin pageant.

Ruth Rinehart is a community minister\, affiliated with Jefferson Unitarian Church in Golden\, where she lives in her suburban permaculture homestead with her partner\, David Hurlbut\, their daughter and son-in-law and four cats. She founded the first-in-the-country queer recovery residence that welcomes all genders\, Just Living Recovery\, in Lakewood. Currently\, she is recovery coach for Whitian House\, outpatient treatment center in Lakewood\, serving incarcerated folx living in community corrections.

Family friendly\, childcare provided. \nWe are working on reviving this affinity (age-based) group of folks who no longer identify as young adults and are not quite in the Wise Elder stage. Bring a dish to share. We’ll enjoy food and connection together and then do some work on imagining what we want out of this group. We hope this will become a monthly event that is welcoming and easy to access for all folks in this stage of life.

DESCRIPTION:The first Friday of every month\, we host an all-ages potluck community night from 6:00-8:00. For the first hour\, we eat and socialize\, and in the second hour there’s a variety of different activities like tie-dye and sparklers; a campfire singalong and s’mores; or Christmas caroling in December. No signup needed\, just bring some food to share and come on by! If you’d like to attend but don’t have time to cook\, we’ve always got extra food and would love your presence. \nFor September’s Community Night\, we’ll provide white t-shirts\, socks\, bandanas\, etc. to tie dye–but feel free to bring your own items to tie dye too. Bonus points will be given to people who wear their groovy new duds to Sunday’s service!

DESCRIPTION:This month we will have a summer potluck and drumming near the St. Vrain creek in Lyons\, CO\, at Linda’s house\, beginning at 5:30 pm.Carpooling is available. It is 30 minutes from UUCB. Please bring a potluck item\, a drum if you have one (and any extras to share)\, bug spray\, and a camping chair (Linda has chairs\, but a few extras would be welcome) No drumming experience needed! We will meet at the trolley near the river– park on the road in front of her house\, then take the path just to the left of the house (double track) down to the trolley.
