DESCRIPTION:The Passover Seder retells the story of the Jewish people leaving Egypt 3\,000 years ago: the first successful slave revolt recorded. It’s a celebration of freedom – and it’s a great opportunity for fellowship and connections. Rev. David grew up celebrating the Seder as part of his Jewish heritage and he’s delighted to share it with you: whether you have Jewish roots\, and whether or not you’ve never been to a Seder before\, you are warmly invited! \nWhen: 6-8pm on Saturday April 12th. (We’ll eat around 7pm) \nWhere: Sky Room at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Boulder\, 5001 Pennsylvania Ave\, Boulder\, CO 80303 \nChildcare: Kids are very welcome; our nursery will be open but unstaffed. \nWhat do I bring? Dinner is potluck — please bring food to share! While we won’t attempt to be rigorously kosher\, Passover has a number of special dietary rules you’ll need to observe when bringing food: \n\nNo breads of any kind in any amount.\nNothing made with any wheat\, barley\, oats\, spelt\, or rye in any ingredient.\nNothing made with rice\, corn\, soy\, millet\, beans\, peas\, or other legume in any ingredient.\nNo pork or shellfish.\n\n(Please note: if you do bring a dish with any of these items\, we won’t be able to serve and share it.) \nWe kindly ask that you RSVP here to ensure we have enough food for everyone. Jeremy Nickel\, joined by Rev. David. \n \nJeremy D. Nickel thrives at the intersection of spirituality and technology.  A lifelong spiritual adventurer and entrepreneur\, after Graduate School in Berkeley\, CA and jobs in the tech world\, Jeremy was Ordained and served seven years as the Minister of Mission Peak UU Congregation.  He left in 2016 to launch EvolVR\, a secular/spiritual community in Virtual Reality. In January of 2022 EvolVR was acquired by the leading VR wellness company\, TRIPP.  Jeremy continues to lead the community (now re-named Together with TRIPP) as the VP of Community and Live Events at TRIPP. He also served as the Interim Minister at the UU Church of Boulder during the Pandemic. When un-plugged from his Ministry Jeremy enjoys spending time exploring the great outdoors of his newly adopted state of Colorado with his wife Nicole\, a UCC minister serving in Boulder\, and daughter Peaches. \nOur 11:00am service is held in person\, and livestreamed on the UU Church of Boulder YouTube Channel here.

DESCRIPTION:The UUCB Climate Action Ministry (CAM) is focused on enacting justice by educating our members and the community on the impacts of climate change and its solutions\, and by providing opportunities for our members and friends to act to solve it. Each year\, we plan a cycle of activities which might include advocacy and direct action\, education for the congregation and community\, and tools to make tangible change. \nWe meet monthly\, August – May\, usually the fourth Wednesday of each month.
