DESCRIPTION:For those who could not attend the in-person Visioning event on Saturday 2/8\, we will hold a shorter “virtual” Visioning session by Zoom. No RSVP required. \nThe Zoom meeting link will be shared via the weekly Messenger email and the ‘Expansion News’ email. If you wish to attend the meeting and have not received either email by Saturday 2/22\, please contact our Office Administrator\, Sam Henderson\, at office@uuchurchofboulder.org. \nIf you participated in the in-person event\, the architects ask that you do not “double up” by also participating in this event – unless you feel that your perspective did not get expressed or captured. \nWhat are your hopes for the expansion of our church home? What is important that should be included? What will create a welcoming\, inclusive space that meets the needs of this community?  During this hour\, you will share your answers to several key questions\, contribute ideas on specific topics\, and respond to a series of pictures and images to indicate which ones appeal to you. Participants can respond during the discussion and/or respond in the “chat” function. All ideas shared will be incorporated into the responses from the congregation that are being analyzed by our architects\, who will develop early sketches for the March 8th Visioning meeting.

DESCRIPTION:The first Friday of every month\, we host an all-ages potluck community night from 6:00-8:00. For the first hour\, we eat and socialize\, and in the second hour there’s a variety of different activities like tie-dye and sparklers; a campfire singalong and s’mores; or Christmas caroling in December. No signup needed\, just bring some food to share and come on by! If you’d like to attend but don’t have time to cook\, we’ve always got extra food and would love your presence. \nFor February’s Community Night\, come join us for a potluck and valentine’s crafts! We’ll make festive suncatchers and crafty cards for your valentine\, your friend\, or yourself. Special JackBox activity for teens.

DESCRIPTION:We welcome all who identify as women. Please join us at 6:30 pm for gathering and social time and we will begin our circle at 7:00 pm. We will explore HYGGE this month. In both Danish and Norwegian\, hygge refers to being “cozy and comfortable”\, or “a form of everyday togetherness”\, “a pleasant and highly valued everyday experience of safety\, equality\, personal wholeness and a spontaneous social flow”. We will have hot chocolate and hot tea. Bring a cozy snack if you wish. Dress in your most cozy comfortable clothes\, pajamas are ok!.
