9:00am – 3:00pm daily at the UU Church of Boulder
Monday June 3 – Friday June 7, 2024
Have you ever wanted to learn how to write and preach for worship? Spend a full week digging deep into what makes worship work and how to do it!
Learn about the theory and theology of preaching,
Practice writing and speaking with authenticity,
Develop a confidence being at home in your body and voice,
Build through the week to compose a ten-minute sermon,
Daily community singing to learn new songs and develop confidence.
Whether you are at home in front of a room, or anxious to stand up and deliver – this pilot workshop is for all experience levels! Based on feedback from participants, we’ll look to offer it at times more accessible to the whole UUCB community in the coming year.
Leaders
Rev. David Schwartz and Dr. Emily Koriath,
minister and music director at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Boulder
