Earth Room
The Earth Room is a traditional sanctuary space with fixed pews in the front and moveable chairs in the back and to the front-left. At the very front is a raised pulpit area with a grand piano (which you may rent for an additional flat-rate fee). To the back-left is the Audio/Visual (A/V) booth, where all audio, visual, and livestreaming equipment is operated.
Seating Options and Capacity
Your rental comes with the following:
- 80 moveable chairs
- 8 rows of pews, 7 in front and 1 in the very back
- For most comfortable seating (10 seats to one row of pews), capacity is 160.
- For fully packed seating (14 seats to one row of pews), capacity is 192.

Listening Room
Renting the Earth Room includes rental of the adjacent Listening Room.
(If you would like to rent the Listening Room separately, please email finance@uuchurchofboulder.org.
The Listening Room is a cozy area that connects the Earth Room and Sky Room.
- Seating includes 4-6 chairs and one couch – altogether this accommodates 6-8 people.

Sky Room + Kitchen
Sky Room
The Sky Room is an open gathering space. If your event requires chairs and/or tables, you will need to factor set up and tear down into your reservation time.
Seating Options and Capacity
For seated dinners and other such occasions, seating capacity with tables is 80 people.
- For seated meetings and other events with few or no tables, seating capacity is 100 (includes wall-mounted benches).
- For unseated events, standing capacity is 150.
Seating Inventory
Your rental comes with the following:
- 60 chairs with an additional 20 available upon request
- 3 6×2-foot tables that seat up to 6
- 8 8×2-foot tables that seat up to 8 (with an additional 9 available upon request)
- 4 3-foot circular high-top tables
- 2 wall-mounted benches that seat up to 10 people each
Kitchen
Renting the Sky Room includes rental of the adjacent kitchen.
If you would like to rent the kitchen separately, please email office@uuchurchofboulder.org.
Please feel free to use:
- All available counter space
- All sinks (Please handle our drain system with care. All chunks of food, etc. should be disposed of in the appropriate waste basket.)
- Refrigerator (as space is available)
- Three waste baskets for trash, recyclables, and compostables
- Washable kitchenware

The Emerson Room is our conference space with a lovely outdoor view.

Your rental comes with the following:
- 12 chairs with an additional 8 available upon request
- 6 6×2-foot tables
Accommodates up to 20 people - The Emerson Room comes with our Hybrid Meeting Equipment as listed below.
Using Our Hybrid Meeting Equipment
Our hybrid meeting setup includes:
- Large TV monitor on mount with wheels
- Black box with Jabra GN speakerphone with USB-
- A cable included
- 10-ft HDMI cable
- 6-ft USB-A cable
- Multiport dongle for Macbook-compatible setup (USB-A to USB-C and HDMI to USB-C)
Disclaimer: The rental of this Hybrid Meeting equipment does not come with assistance from an A/V specialist. This means troubleshooting will not be available during your reservation. Please arrange to have someone with your party assist with setting up, troubleshooting, and tearing down this equipment.

Parking Information
- Parking comes complimentary with your reservation. You may rent out one of our parking lots for $25 per hour to use the space for any purpose other than parking (block party activities, etc.).
- The West Parking Lot consists of 61 parking spots, 2 of which are designated for accessible parking.
- The East Parking Lot consists of 59 parking spots, 5 of which are designated for accessible parking.
Requesting Services from Ministers and Musicians
- To request services from our minister, Rev. David Schwartz, please reach out to him directly at minister@uuchurchofboulder.org. If our minister is not able to provide services during your reservation, we will assign these services to one of our affiliated ministers unless otherwise discussed.
- Note: If you hire an outside minister to provide their services during your reservation, UUCB will need the name and contact information of this minister and they will need to contact our minister in advance of the reservation.
- To request services from our Music Director and musicians, please reach out directly to our music director, Dr. Emily Koriath, at music@uuchurchofboulder.org.
