UUCB’s Climate Action Ministry invites you to
Boulder CCL’s Watch Party:
CCL 2024 Fall Virtual National Conference —
Positioning for Progress
Citizens’ Climate Lobby (CCL) recognizes the unique challenges the new political landscape presents for climate action. As Rachel Kerestes, CCL’s Executive Director, shared recently about what a second term of President Trump may bring and may require from climate advocates. “There’s going to be a lot that happens very quickly. There was a lot of chaos last time,” she reminded us. “The key to success is to not get distracted. The key to victory is discipline and focus.”
Program: Join us at our fall virtual conference for an insider’s look at what Congress is expected to tackle on climate change. The program will cover the key opportunities during the lame duck session at the end of this Congress. It will also prepare us to protect the climate progress we’ve made and to advance climate progress in the new legislative landscape we’re facing.
When: Saturday, December 7, 10:45 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Where: Unitarian Universalist Church of Boulder, 5001 Pennsylvania Ave., Boulder 80303 (Sky Room)
Who: You! And feel free to bring friends!
Free, but space is limited: Please register HERE.
What to bring: We’ll provide snacks and some hot cider. If you think you’ll need more sustenance, please bring a sack lunch!
