Have you felt those moments when the natural world shifts into a shimmering, wondrous focus? For most of us, these moments of coming alive, of being fully in our animal body, are few and far between. We can forget that we are participants in the larger drama of our ecosystem. What if coming back into a relationship with the earth requires us to be in our bodies in a profoundly different way? What if being in our animal bodies, deeply engaged with our senses, is the key to belonging and the antidote to the world’s woes?
Christopher (they/them) is an eco-chaplain, song-leader, and spiritual care practitioner in Fort Collins, CO. They currently serve as Chaplain Supervisor at Poudre Valley hospital, providing multi-faith and belief spiritual care to staff, patients and families. Their ministry is focused on somatic soul care in service to ecological community.
