Sunday Morning Services (9 & 11 AM) – “The Case Against Purity” from Rev. David

August 30
“Purity culture” — the Evangelical Christian movement for absolute abstinence from sex before marriage — applies fear, shame, control, and perfectionism to separate people from a whole, healthy relationship with sex. But the belief that anything less than perfection equals failure has deep roots in our own tradition, too, and a surprising hold in our life.

Almost every week, our services are at 9:00 and 11:00am.

Our 9:00am service is a little smaller, a little less formal, and held in the round. Kids start in the service and then go to classes based on grade levels (Preschool, K-2, and 3-5th grades – middle and high school youth groups meets Sunday evenings).

Our 11:00am service is a little larger and has a variety of different sorts of music (choir, ensembles, house band, instrumental groups, etc.). We livestream this service each week on our YouTube Channel at this link.

Kids are always welcome to stay in with adults, and professional childcare for young children 0-3 years is available at each service.

Coffee, snacks, and time to socialize follows each service.
