UUCB partners with Tipi Raisers to support the people of the Pine Ridge, Hopi and Diné Reservations. We’ve had five volunteer trips and two local volunteer days since November 2019, providing over 3,100 volunteer hours(!!), and donated tons (literally) of food and supplies through food drives.

FOOD DRIVE: Nov 20 – Dec 10
Once again, we are gathering food and supplies, which will go to hungry Pine Ridge families. You can bring these by the church between November 20 and December 10, during office hours (M-Th, 12:30-5:30pm). Outside of those hours, you can leave your items in the barrel outside the front door.

NEXT VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES: March 2 and May 25-31
Looking further ahead our next local Tipi Raisers volunteer day in Lafayette will be Saturday, March 2. And, our next volunteer trip will be next May 25-31 to the Hopi & Diné Reservations. If you’re interested in either, please let Ed Self know at edself1@gmail.com.
