The UUCB Defending Democracy Team formed in 2025 in response to the rise of authoritarianism in our country. Since then we have coordinated ways for folks to connect and participate in No Kings, Good Trouble, Key Lime Airlines, NCAR and other  protests throughout Boulder County.  We have also hosted a Know Your Rights Training as well as a two-part One Million Rising Training. We provide weekly suggestions on ways to take action through our church newsletter and are involved in turn-out-the-vote efforts for the midterm elections.  We welcome new members!
