Welcome to Expansion News – the source for updates on our building project!

Beginning this summer, the UUCB Expansion Project will reach a major milestone as we break ground on construction of our building.  During the initial phase of construction, the EARTH and SKY ROOMS will be unavailable for 3-5 months while a firewall is installed between the new and existing structures.

While this is an exciting sign of progress, smoothly navigating the transition requires advance planning.  To facilitate this process, we are forming a Physical Space Team to manage the logistics of relocating worship services and safely storing items that must be removed from the construction zone.

More about the Physical Space Team

Current members of the Physical Space Team are Rev. David Schwartz, Scott Montgomery (staff), Diana Maiden (worship team), and Pat Walters (Board of Trustees).  We are seeking someone with project management skills to join this effort. This is a short-term commitment focused on the months leading up to groundbreaking.
