Board of Trustees

Who: UUCB Members

What: The UUCB Board of Trustees

When: TBD

Where: UUCB & Zoom

Like all Unitarian Universalist congregations, we are democratically run by our members through their elected leaders. The main function of the Board of Trustees is strategic: are we as a congregation focused on the key things we need to do to live out our mission? The Board sets major goals, oversees the finances of the congregation, and serves as an accountability partner with the staff team. We seek a diverse set of perspectives for the seven-member Board: a mix of identities, and of folks with leadership experience in different contexts.

Our elected leaders work in partnership with the Lead Minister. The Board and elected leaders focus on governance: vision, mission, and oversight. The Lead Minister and staff team focus on ministry: the implementation of the vision on the ground in partnership with Ministry Teams.

Your UUCB board strives to be transparent, accessible and ready to communicate with you, our congregation. We want to hear from you and one avenue is the regular Board roundtables — check the schedule below!
