The Climate Action Ministry Team (CAM) is focused on enacting justice by educating our members on the impacts of climate change and its solutions, and by providing opportunities for our members and friends to take action on solving it. Each year, they plan a cycle of activities which might include advocacy and direct action, education for the congregation and community, and tools to make tangible change. A recent Earth Day service, for example, was coordinated by CAM and followed by a tasty vegetarian lunch and education about moving away from animal protein. CAM partners closely with the Boulder Citizens Climate Lobby, which meets monthly here at UUCB.
