Kick-off Sunday
February 1 (10AM only!)

There’ll only be one service on Sunday, February First.There’ll be an all-generation abbreviated service, then we’ll move into a Kick-Off Celebration that will mark the beginning of our General Capital Campaign to raise funds for our Expansion Project. 

Children are included in the festivities, and after the service, will go off to RE for special projects for them.
The Kick-Off Celebration includes food, music, a parody and the big reveal of how much money we have raised so far.  Food will be in the Sky Room and there will be break-out rooms in Emerson and the Teen Room providing an opportunity to have your questions answered and your comments recorded. They’ll be staffed by members of the Building Design Team and the Capital Campaign Team. On January 24 and 25, our Capital Campaign Consultant, Kay Crider, will be at UUCB training the members who have volunteered to be stewards for the Campaign .  

So, it’s training for stewards, the Kick-Off, and off we go to raise the money needed to build our much needed expansion.

Everyone will be visited and provided with information, so please welcome your steward when called to set up an appointment to meet. It’s a great opportunity to get to know your fellow UUCBers better and to discuss giving until it feels good.
