Every year during Pride Month, the word ‘ally’ jumps to the forefront of our vocabulary. But what does an alliance actually mean? What does this relationship require from us? This Sunday, join me in contemplating the places where love and social justice merge. Let’s celebrate Pride by committing ourselves to stand up for our many, many siblings across all different identities.
My name is Nate (short for Nathaniel), I welcome any pronouns, and I am so excited to be visiting UU Church of Boulder! I am a lifelong UU, born and raised in Massachusetts, and I’ve spent the past three years in Denver, Colorado while I attend seminary. I’ve been working as a hospital chaplain for about a year now, and doing all kinds of community organizing work around Denver.
