Ruth Rinehart as she explores resisting the white supremacy culture of our heritage, including Puritans and Calvinism, with their orientation towards productivity and shame. Rev. Ruth Rinehart is a community minister, affiliated with Jefferson Unitarian Church in Golden, where she lives in her suburban permaculture homestead with her partner, David Hurlbut, their daughter and son-in-law and four cats. She founded the first-in-the-country queer recovery residence that welcomes all genders, Just Living Recovery, in Lakewood. Currently, she is recovery coach for Whitian House, outpatient treatment center in Lakewood, serving incarcerated folx living in community corrections.
