As Unitarian Universalists, we are positioned to be faith leaders at this critical time in our country’s and planet’s history. And it can feel overwhelming. Where do we start? We run the risk of becoming quick to act without listening to each other and the communities most impacted by climate disruption. This Earth Day, UU Ministry for Earth and Rev. Kelly Dignan help us deepen practices that put Love at the center of our climate justice work—not to avoid acting, but to prepare and sustain us for climate justice action.
Our guest preacher Rev. Kelly Dignan was the minister here at UUCB from 2015-2019. She went on to be the Executive Director of UU Ministry for Earth and is now serving as a spiritual director and volunteer justice organizer.
Our 9:00am service is held in person in the Sky Room, with religious education classes for PreK-5th graders, and nursery care for infants and toddlers — though all ages are always welcome at the whole service!
