Passover Seder Service & Potluck

The Passover Seder retells the story of the Jewish people leaving Egypt 3,000 years ago: the first successful slave revolt recorded. It’s a celebration of freedom – and it’s a great opportunity for fellowship and connections. Rev. David grew up celebrating the Seder as part of his Jewish heritage and he’s delighted to share it with you: whether you have Jewish roots, and whether or not you’ve never been to a Seder before, you are warmly invited!

When: 6-8pm on Saturday April 12th. (We’ll eat around 7pm)

Where: Sky Room at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Boulder, 5001 Pennsylvania Ave, Boulder, CO 80303

Childcare: Kids are very welcome; our nursery will be open but unstaffed.

What do I bring? Dinner is potluck — please bring food to share! While we won’t attempt to be rigorously kosher, Passover has a number of special dietary rules you’ll need to observe when bringing food:

• No breads of any kind in any amount.
• Nothing made with any wheat, barley, oats, spelt, or rye in any ingredient.
• Nothing made with rice, corn, soy, millet, beans, peas, or other legume in any ingredient.
• No pork or shellfish.

(Please note: if you do bring a dish with any of these items, we won’t be able to serve and share it.)
