At December’s in-person meeting (12/10) at Fraiser Meadows, David Austin Timpson from The Natural Funeral will present information and answer questions from those present. This event is not limited to Senior Salon members — so if you have a friend(s) who might also be interested in the subject/content — feel free to invite them, and we will welcome them warmly!.
Senior Salon is an open discussion group for seniors. We meet “in-person” in the Sunshine Canyon Room, at Frasier Meadows Retirement Center (350 Ponca Place, Boulder) on the second Wednesday of each month; from 10:00 – 12:00 am.
Senior Salon also meets (via Zoom — email seniorsalon@uuchurchofboulder.org for the passcode) on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of the month. from 10:00 – 11:00 am. It is very informal, with a chalice lighting and reading thrown in, just to remind us we are UUs.
Contact seniorsalon@uuchurchofboulder.org for the Zoom link, more information, or to get involved.
There is no lower-age attendance criteria; members simply self-select. Existing members declare that “The purpose and mission of the UUCB Senior Salon is to openly, respectfully and lovingly share among ourselves, relevant stories, and information about facing and thriving in the later stages of life.”
