UUCB Member Alan Davis has set up a GoFundMe fundraising campaign for Mercedes Garcia. For several years, Mercedes was in charge of the nursery at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Boulder. Recently she required open heart surgery to replace a valve. All but $2,800 was covered by Colorado Indigent Health Care, but it is not possible for Mercedes to come up with the balance before it goes into collection and fees.
