UUCB is one of the founding members of the Boulder Area Sanctuary and Immigration Coalition (BASIC). The group focuses on the ongoing, unfinished, and sometimes maddeningly slow work of immigration reform in our profoundly broken American immigration system. We also commit to ongoing work supporting Ingrid Encalada Latorre and her family – Ingrid lived in sanctuary at UUCB from 2017-2022 as she fought an unjust deportation order.
