Honor the longest day and shortest night in this all-ages celebration and gathering!
Bike to church and join Director of Religious Education, Rachel Alba for an all-ages ride around the neighborhood after the service.
UUCB will be providing burgers (veggie and meat) and dogs, you can bring a side dish, and we'll all enjoy an evening of grilling, playing on the playground and playing lawn games, and being together!
For September's Community Night, we’ll provide white t-shirts, socks, bandanas, etc. to tie dye–but feel free to bring your own items to tie dye too.
This Sunday we kick off the church year with one joyful all-ages service at 11:00, followed by our annual barbecue! Bring a bit of water from home or summer travels to share in our annual water ritual.
At the balance-point between dark and day, we gather to bear witness to the sacred cycle of the year and ground ourselves in this all-ages, earth-centered service. Bring a branch of fall leaves, or fresh fall flowers, homemade bread, or harvest from your garden to help build our altar.
For October's Community Night, get ready for Halloween and B.Y.O.P (bring your own pumpkin!). Show off your creations in a pumpkin pageant.
We'll travel through time to find our trick-or-treating friend, learning about the history of our Halloween traditions. Heavy snacks provided, costumes strongly encouraged! Childcare for infant to 2 y.o.'s. Please RSVP
A service of community singing, reflection, and prayer. A time to connect in solidarity and hope with each other. It matters that we're not struggling alone. A space to be together in shock, grief, and hope in an uncertain time.
After a 10:00am pancake breakfast, gather for this all-ages service at 11:00 celebrating abundance and lifting up gratitude -- especially in times of complexity or uncertainty.
For December's Community Night, it’s the most wonderful time of the year with caroling, making gingerbread houses, and enjoying a friendly Ugly Sweater competition.
