We recognize the need for parents and caregivers to connect deeply with one another and with others who have already been through the process of child raising.
Our monthly community nights offer opportunities for parents and children to relax and enjoy an evening in community with members of all ages at UUCB.
We also offer a quarterly Family’s Night Out which includes dinner and conversation on a topic related to child raising and parenting for adults. These adult conversations are guided by the elders of our community, in order to foster intergenerational wisdom and support. During Family’s Night Out, children and youth meet down the hall for dinner and age-appropriate workshops offered by community members.
Often in Boulder it can be challenging to find service opportunities for kids of all ages. UUCB hosts a quarterly all-ages service project in order to make it easier for families to participate in service opportunities.
There is a Soul Matters Small Group that meets that is especially for parents and caregivers.
