What: Funding the work of the congregation

We fund the work of the congregation through an annual pledge drive in which the church community makes a commitment to give funding in the following fiscal year. It involves a lot of detailed spreadsheet-work and communication, and it is a fundamentally hopeful, optimistic, energizing function of church life. It’s a place to get involved if you like quiet data management behind the scenes spreadsheet work, but also a place to get involved if you like to communicate with the whole congregation about why UUCB matters and what difference it’s making.
