The 2024 UUCB silent auction bidding is about to begin and we just can’t wait. Here’s the link to the auction website: https://auctria.com/auction/UUCB-2024 where you can bid, donate items and buy tickets for our Saturday November 2nd annual lasagne dinner and live auction.  

The auction is not only our biggest fundraiser of the year but also a chance to build community, gather with friends and just plain have fun!  So, jump in and start bidding on items; there’s something for everybody.  

And, we’d love to have you donate an item.  Below are some great examples of items you could donate.  We’ll have an info table after Sunday church services, so stop by with questions or just to say hello!!  UUCB Auction Team

Auction ideas for your donations:

FEASTS & FESTIVITIES – Dinners, slideshows, game nights, holiday events

GIFT CERTIFICATES – Concerts or other cultural events, restaurants, overnights

OVERNIGHTS – Weekend (or more) getaway in your mountain cabin or elsewhere

ANTIQUES – In good condition

FOOD OR DRINK TO BE DELIVERED – Cookies, jams, beer, wine, desserts    

MEMBERS’ ARTWORK – Paintings, photographs, prints, handiwork (knitting, quilt, etc.)

DAY EXCURSIONS/ADVENTURES – Bike ride, nature (bird, tree, flower, geology) walk; thrift shop tour, fishing expedition, horseback riding

BASKETS – Filled with teas, food, wine or NEW and UNUSED treasures from your house

LESSONS AND CLASSES – Photography, skiing, music, plant care, arts and crafts, investing,  computer/internet instruction

MIND, BODY AND SPIRIT – Yoga, dance, singing

SERVICES – Computer repair, photo help, home maintenance, house cleaning, party preparation, party music, snow shoveling, landscape maintenance, ride to/from airport, car washing/waxing, dog/cat sitting and/or walking

Our annual lasagne dinner & live auction draws a sellout crowd!

Among the many silent auction possibilities is a yummy fondue dinner.

We expect some lively bidding for these foraged berry jams.
