Ready to find your next steps for connection and growth and UUCB? Join us for lunch and Finding Your Way at UUCB.
Reason is one of our central values -- we intentionally and clearly reject dogma and blind supernaturalisms -- but pure reason also gets us in trouble when it's a person's only value.

You are warmly invited to a memorial service and celebration of the life of Betty Skipp. Click on this event for a special request from Rev. David.
Join us for Community Nights on the first Friday of each month from 6:00-8:00pm. Bring food to share, and stop by UUCB for a potluck dinner and activities for all ages!
We welcome all who identify as women. We will explore the spiritual meaning of falling leaves. Please bring a handful or a bag of your choice of leaves.
Scott, our Community and Connection Manager, Rev. David and members of the congregation lead a monthly 45-minute introduction to Unitarian Universalism and UUCB.
This is an event where all ministries, committees and affinity groups explain what their group does within the UUCB community and how you can participate.
This congregation is one big community, but it's also a collection of lots and lots of smaller communities. We explore what that looks and feels like, and what it means to take sustenance in being co-creators of this place.

At the balance-point between dark and day, we gather to bear witness to the sacred cycle of the year and ground ourselves in this all-ages, earth-centered service.
Join Membership Coordinator Irene, Rev. David and the Membership & Connection Team as we talk about how to connect bravely, authentically & purposefully at UUCB.
We will meet at the home of Diane Curlette for a strictly social affair. Please bring a snack for 6-8 and your choice of beverage, if desired.
Come chat with members of your Board of Trustees! Get updates about church matters, ask questions, and let us know what's on your mind.
Join Rev. David and Rachel Alba in dedicating our renovated RE Classroom, Nursery, and Teen Room after both the 9am and 11am services.
We use many names to talk about "spiritual experience" -- peak experience, a sense of aliveness, encounter with the holy, a feeling of the sacred, experiencing the world as it is, meeting God -- but no names quite get at what that experience really is. The words we use to speak about it aren't the same as what the experience is: our maps are not the territory.

It's time to update our photo directory! Please stop by the photo "booth" during the All Church Barbecue Lunch to get your picture taken.
If you would like to bring a side dish to the BBQ Lunch, please sign up on Sundays at the Welcome Table.
(Note: only one service at 11am!) This Sunday we gather to kick off the church year with one all-ages service at 11:00, followed by our annual barbecue! Bring a bit of water from home or summer travels to share in our annual water ritual.
The FAB selection for September is "The Righteous Mind" by Jonathan Haidt.
