Welcome to Expansion News – the source for updates on our building project!

One hundred and twelve members of UUCB met in the Earth Room or on Zoom on Sunday, November 9th to vote on whether or not to move into Capital Campaign mode to support the proposed Building Expansion Project.

After Board President President Robin Miller lit the chalice, the Rules of Right Relations and Robert’s Rules of Order read by members of the Board, and discussion was open. Rev. David and Board of Trustee member, Whitney Wheeless answered the few questions or calls for clarification.

Board member, Cathy Edward’s, as Moderator, and in spite of a mild case of laryngitis, presented the motion to support a Capital Campaign and a call for the vote was introduced  and seconded.

Those gathered, who were given red ballots when they registered to vote, held their ballots high when the vote was called. No dissents were given when that question was asked – the result was a unanimous YES!

And finally, when the results were announced and the meeting declared closed, the crowd left the room to rousing cheers and applause.
