Detailed Design development for our new sanctuary is underway!
The Building Design Team is welcoming five UUCB members! The nominated members will be on two new sub-teams that will work with Rodwin Architecture to help with the next phase of the project!
The Interior Aesthetics Team will focus on reviewing Interior designs for the Detailed Design development. This will move our Conceptual Design to a design that will include more specifics of what is included in our current project—it is the next step before final architectural specifications and plans are drawn up. The target for Detailed Design delivery is late January. Beki Martin is the Lead. She is joined by new sub-team members Diana Maiden, Heidi Todd and Tasha Hill, all of whom have considerable experience and interest in designing and creating interior spaces for artistic and practical functions
The Design Review Team is tasked with oversight and review of detailed architectural specifications and plans. Gary Herrli is the Lead. New members Tony Coleman and Cait McQuade have architectural and/or construction bid oversight experience. They join Gary, Sharon Belew and Diana King on this team. The team is expected to start in parallel with Detailed Designs and continue into the Construction phase that will start three or more months after the Detailed Design is accepted.
Welcome to these new team members!
